About

PAXAFE delivers autonomous AI-enabled decision support for quality, transportation, and logistics leaders, helping them extract maximum value and resiliency from their existing visibility solutions.

Website

PAXAFE builds OS for visibility control towers. It's B2B SaaS platform — CONTXT — is an AI-enabled, device-agnostic risk-management platform that reduces product loss, improves operational efficiency and optimizes decision making for perishable shippers and service providers. PAXAFE contextualizes active and passive visibility data, quantifies risk and predicts OTIF adverse events.

PAXAFE's Challenges and Needs

PAXAFE originally used Superset on top of Redshift to fulfill their analytics and reporting needs. However, as the company grew rapidly, Superset fell short in supporting the increasing complexity of requirements, as well as the degree of customization and speed of development that PAXAFE required to deliver new analytics and charts.

As a result, PAXAFE set out to find new solutions that would enable them to:

  • Build analytics dashboards quickly while closely mimicking PAXAFE's design system and Figma designs.

  • Significantly reduce data loading latency between extracting data from Redshift and surfacing the data to PAXAFE's end users.

  • Utilize out-of-the-box interactive components (e.g., filters) to achieve the specific functionalities desired by product UX.

The Solution

With Upsolve AI, PAXAFE developed multiple real-time, customizable analytics dashboards and embedded them within their CONTXT platform. Since Upsolve AI's dashboard could be embedded as a native React component, it was able to utilize PAXAFE's design system and global CSS classes, ensuring the dashboard adhered to PAXAFE's design requirements. These dashboards provided PAXAFE with predictive risk analytics and real-time insights, improving decision-making and reducing shipment risks.

As the next step, PAXAFE is looking to create more dashboards using Upsolve AI for their new product line, LOGIX, which focuses on supply chain risk scenario comparisons.

Upsolve's Impact - go from zero to one at lighting speed

By embedding Upsolve's dashboard, PAXAFE archived the following:

  • No-Code/Low-Code Setup: Upsolve's user-friendly platform reduces the need for a dedicated data engineering team for creating basic reports, as PAXAFE team members with less advance technical skills can also build reports and monitor analytics.

  • Scalability and Security: Upsolve provides enterprise-grade scalability and security features, ensuring that PAXAFE can grow its analytics solutions without worrying about compromising sensitive shipment or customer data.

  • Customizable End-User Facing Dashboards: After PAXAFE embedded Upsolve dashboards, PAXAFE's end users could customize these dashboards and build additional analytics via point and click, enjoying the embedded business intelligence experience within PAXAFE's platform.

Key Metrics
